The reservoirs of Tāmaki Makaurau have been known to run dry on occasion, so harvesting rainwater is a great way to ensure you can water your garden with no worries. We love sustainable solutions!
250L Tank
These compact yet good capacity 250L tanks are food grade and available in either green or grey.
Installation includes down pipe diverter, connections, tap and stand.
Additional tanks can be added to increase your storage capacity. As many as you have space for can be added.
1st Class Gardens can install a rainwater tank on your property to create your own supply of water separate from the town supply. Our rainwater tanks are certified food grade so the water collected could be used as back up drinking water in case of a civil emergency (we would recommend that you boil it first). The removable lids provide easy access for cleaning.
Our rainwater tanks can be connected to a standard garden hose or soaker line to deliver the water to where it needs to be. Without a pump installed, they do not have enough pressure for a sprinkler system.
